COURSE EXPECTATIONS AND GRADING
CLASS RULES:
1. Come to class prepared to learn with all necessary materials.
2. Be respectful of yourself and others. Inappropriate behavior is not accepted in class.
3. Be seated when the bell rings. Failure to do so will be counted as a tardy and result in detention.
4. Try your best on every assignment!
5. All PVMHS rules and regulations will be followed in this class.
GRADING:
Grading is done on a points system. Students will earn various points for tests, projects, quizzes, homework and class participation. At the end of each quarter, the total number of points received will be divided by the total number of possible points in each category to determine the student’s quarterly average. The quarterly grade will be calculated according to the following category weights:
and checked for completion, it will contribute to this average. If classwork is collected and graded, it will contribute to the TQP average. In case of an absence, the classwork/homework must be made up within 10 school days. Late assignments will not be accepted.
EXTRA HELP:
I will be available after school for extra help in Room C380 at least one day every week. This day will be posted on the whiteboard on my door on the first day of the week. I am also available for help on other days too, just ask!

- Homework/Classwork – 15%
